Flight over the Sopelana cliffs. A memory card is not included, so be sure to bring it if you want to take the video home.

Depending on the wind direction on the day of the flight, we will meet in one place or another. We will send you the take-off number by WhatsApp or e-mail on the morning of the flight.

Schedules and Calendar
The Sopelana flying season is between March and September , which is when the ideal wind conditions for paragliding are found. Flight times typically begin around 1:00 PM, when the sea breeze begins to blow, and end around 7:30/8:00 PM. Although in autumn and winter you may occasionally see a paraglider flying over the coast, good flying days are very rare, as the southerly winds and rain predominate, making paragliding over the Basque coast impossible.

What to bring on the day of the flight
All you need is comfortable, closed-toe shoes and something warm for the flight. Even if it's hot on the ground, a sweater or sweatshirt is usually necessary during the flight to keep warm.
If your flight doesn't include an SD card and you want to record video, you must bring a minimum 8GB Class 10 micro SD card. (The company is not responsible for recordings on cards not purchased through the company.)
Cancellations and Date Changes
If the flight is canceled due to weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for another day or the amount paid for the reservation will be refunded.
If you've already booked your paragliding flight date and time, you can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance directly from the website or by contacting us via WhatsApp.
Requirements for flying in Sopelana
For tandem paragliding flights, no prior experience or specific physical condition is required. We offer adapted paragliding flights and offer companions for all phases of the activity. However, please note:
- Ages 7 and up with parental or legal guardian authorization.
- Not suitable for pregnant women or people with serious injuries.
- Maximum weight 120Kg

There are days when the weather seems good—sunshine, pleasant temperatures—but the wind in Sopelana isn't just right. In those cases, we don't fly , and this isn't a whim. It's part of our commitment to the safety and quality of the experience.
In fact, many people are surprised to learn that we don't fly "whenever possible," but only when conditions are optimal . We don't come here to "sell flights"; we come to enjoy the sky with you, whenever the sky allows.
