Create your own geometric Mosaic in Granada

Description
ANDALUSÍ TILING WORKSHOP IN GRANADA: CREATE YOUR OWN GEOMETRIC MOSAIC
Tiling is one of the most striking and complex forms of Andalusí decorative art. This ancient technique, which adorns the walls of the Alhambra and other jewels of the Islamic world, involves composing geometric patterns by assembling small hand-cut ceramic pieces.
We invite you to experience this unique art by creating your own miniature tiling panel, using traditional tools, shapes, and colors.
What is Andalusí Tiling?
Unlike painted tiles, tiling is based on the precise joining of small glazed ceramic tiles, each cut into a specific geometric shape (stars, triangles, rhombuses…). When joined, they form symmetrical and repetitive compositions, known as zellige, which are very common in the architecture of Morocco and Al-Andalus.
This art requires patience, attention to detail, and a sense of balance, but it is also deeply meditative and visually stimulating.
